Who runs the Phenomenon?
This page is run by me, Jessie (16), and Amy (16)and we're both from a suburb about 45 minutes outside Chicago. We're Juniors at Lake Central High School (LCHS forever! lol, yeah right!)and we LOVE Nsync. (obviously.) Amy plays the flute in LC's band and after playing forever I would bet she's pretty damn good. (Its strange, I'm her best friend and I've never heard her play...) I sing in the 2nd to the top choir (yes, I'm bragging) and I play softball. I also work at Krazy Kaplan's, a seasonal store that sells fireworks in July, Halloween crap in October...you get the drift. Amy's life mostly consists of band because its extremely time consuming so she doesn't play sports or have a job. (But she wants one when marching season is over!) I have 2 younger brothers and a step sister and Amy is an only child. (But, her parents say I'm their 2nd daughter, and Amy is 'the daughter they love', meaning my mom and step-dad) Amy has a boyfriend and being the loser I am, I don't. :) Um....that's about it for now. Where the heck did "Common Phenomenon" come from?
I (Jessie) got the name from the Eve 6 song "Girl Eyes" off of their album Horrorscope. The line is "It said Fok Karina on the wall we were leaning on, afraid of a common phenomenon again" For some reason, I think that line is really cool so I told Amy, "We're namin the site Common Phenomenon." Used to my crazy suggestions, she said okay. If you look up common you'll see that one of its definitions is 'found or occuring often and in many places' and a definition for phenomenon is 'a person outstanding for some extreme quality or achievement.' Therefore, Nysnc, is a common phenomenon. See, there is some logic behind it. :)

Why did we start this page anyway?
Well, we decided to start a web page mostly because of fan fiction. (oddly enough, that part of the page is coming along the slowest) Amy and I started our first story The Time of Your Life a long time ago. (over a year ago at least) It started as one story and has progressed to 3. I think they got better as we went along, because I know my writing style has improved, but in general, they're good stories. (And we're quite proud of how they've turned out) I love to write and I have a billion stories I've started so there will be lots of fiction eventually....Let's see, mine and Amy's Nsync obsession started with the Disney concert and has just grown. So yeah, good times.
