* After sound check a week later*

"Can we go get somethin to eat now? I'm starving."

"You're always starving Joey." Ali smiled as she wrapped her arms around JC's waist from behind. JC jumped.

"Good Lord woman, where did you come from?"

"Would you like me to start from the beginning? Maybe we should call my parents."

"No really, we don't need that kind of explanation." Rori said.

"Well then, I came from backstage."

"Is that where you came from too?"

"Yep." Rori answered, putting her arms around Justin's neck. He put his around her waist.

"Wonderful." He leaned down to kiss her.

"I love you." She whispered, returning his kiss.

"I love you more." He smiled.

"Alright guys, enough of the mushy stuff we don't have all night here." Ali interrupted.

"So where are we goin?" Lance asked.

"To get something to eat." Joey answered.

"My God, maybe he does have half a brain cell! Joey, master of the obvious!"

"Shut up bitch."

"Kiss my ass." Rori replied.

"Where would you like me to start?"

"Your arguing has really gotten old. Can you guys just shut up so we can go get something to eat?" Ali asked.

Joey and Rori mumbled their agreement.

"How bout IHOP?" Lance suggested

"I've never been there." Ali said.

"Are there any IHOPS around here? I've never seen one in Sacramento. "

"They're everywhere JC."

"That's true..."

"Than IHOP it is?"

"Sounds like a plan."

They voted that it should be Ali who had to go find security and let them know what was going on. She complained about always having to do everything, but went anyway. About fifteen minutes later they piled into two vans. Each van had two members of security plus Justin, Rori, and Chris in one and JC, Ali, Joey and Lance in the other. Again Ali complained, but this time because it didn't seem fair that they should have to have 6 people in their van when Rori only had 5. With a little convincing from JC, Ali ended up to be quite content with the arrangements. After driving around for longer than any of them cared too, they finally found and IHOP. Rori, Ali and the guys were seated at a large round table and their security at a table next to theirs. The order around their table was one that they group had subconsciously adopted early on in their friendship. It went clockwise as follows: Chris, Justin, Rori, Ali, JC, Lance and Joey. They later decided one night over at Chris' house that this worked because Ali an Rori were able to sit next to each other with their guys on either side and it put Rori and Joey on opposite sides of the table to no blood could be shed. Shortly after their food arrived (an interesting variety of pancakes, French toast, and other such breakfast foods) Amy began to feel sick to her stomach. She jumped up and ran to the bathroom. Rori ran after her.

"Al? You okay?"

A toilet flushed and Ali stepped out of a stall.

"I am now.... I think."

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know." Ali said as she splashed cool water on her face. "I took one smell of all that food and I suddenly felt sick."

"Are you sure you're okay? Want to go back to the hotel?" Rori asked with concern.

"No, I'll be--" Ali ran back to the stall before she could finish her sentence. "Maybe I should go back." She moaned, stepping out of the stall again.

Rori waited while Ali cleaned up some and they returned to the table together.

"Is everything okay?" JC asked as Ali slumped in her seat.

"I'm not sure. Who ate my food?"

"We all did." Chris answered.

"Was it good?"

"The guys nodded.

"Well I hope you enjoyed it. Rori's gonna take me back to the hotel okay?"

"I'll go back with you if you want me too." JC offered.

"No, don't bother yourself. I'm taking her." Rori said.

Ali shrugged. "Finish eating. I'll see you later." She kissed JC on the cheek.

"Feel better." He smiled at her as she followed Rori to the exit. Not back at the hotel for more than 10 minutes and Ali ran for the bathroom again.

"Man," she said a few minutes later coming out, "I feel fine one minute and I throw up the next."

"Maybe you're pregnant." Rori casually responded as she waited for Ali's computer to boot up.

"Don't say that. JC and I are careful."

"Sure." Rori laughed to herself as she connected to the Internet.

"We are! More than you and Justin. Who said you can use my computer?"

"I said I could. I can't find my AC adapter. How do you know how careful we are?"

"I don't know, but knowing you and knowing Justin, I can make a good guess."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Take it however you want."

"We're careful enough." Rori mumbled.
